What does IP mean?
IP stands for "Ingress Protection" and describes the impermeability class of a device. This classification indicates how well a device is protected against the ingress of foreign bodies (e.g. dust) and water.
The IP class consists of two digits:
- First digit: Protection against foreign bodies and contact (e.g. dust).
- Values range from 0 (no protection) to 6 (dust-tight).
- Second digit: Protection against water.
- Values range from 0 (no protection) to 9 (protected against high-pressure water jets).
Can I connect several energy cases in series?
Yes, this is possible under certain circumstances. However, the direct series connection of several energy.cases is not intended due to technical and safety-related restrictions.
Indirect connection:
By using external devices such as distributors or suitable charging stations, several energy.cases can be used at the same time, supplying energy independently of each other.

With the NFC chip, which is integrated in products such as battery.case, starlink.case and energy.case, consumers can quickly and easily access the operating instructions for the respective products by simply scanning the NFC chip.
This is how the NFC chip works:
- Android users: Require an NFC app and must activate NFC in the settings
- iPhone users (from iPhone 7): The NFC tag is read automatically, without an additional app
